THE BEST WAY TO TRAVEL TO SUMMAFIELDAYZE

As there is NO PARKING available at The Spit, and with Seaworld Drive closed to private vehicles at the Seaworld Roundabout, the best way to get to Summafieldayze is by way of the special Public Transport services provided:

SHUTTLE BUSES:
SFD Shuttle Buses will be running from Surfers Paradise- leaving from the Cypress Ave Car Park from 10.00am,  Broadbeach- leaving from the park in front of Jupiter’s casino, on the Highway from 10.00am and from Helensvale Rail Station, also from 10.00am  Fares for each service $10.00 return. Shuttles return to these points after the event.

FERRY SERVICE:
This year you can travel via the SFD Ferry Services leaving from Cavill Ave /Tiki Village Wharf and the Broadwater Parklands- services start from 9.30am (for details and bookings go to the Oztix site).  The drop off point for Ferries will be at the pontoon at Muriel Henchman Park on Seaworld Dr, there will be FREE Shuttle Buses from here to SFD Entry for both entry and return. Water Police and Qld Maritime Services will be restricting any unauthorised transfers by water to the site this year - this has become a Safety issue so if you are planning to come to the event by water, please travel by the authorised Ferry Services provided.

TAXI’S, LIMO’S & PRIVATE CHARTER BUSES:
For those travelling by Taxi, Limousine or Private Charter Buses, this year Police will be allowing these vehicles to drop off at the Entry to SFD on The Spit. ( Private Charter Buses cannot park anywhere near the venue however, please make your own Off Site parking arrangements if this is the way you plan to get there)

After the event, Taxis, Limousines and Private Charter Buses will not have access past the Seaworld Roundabout Road Closure - Shuttles will be running from the site to the pick up points south of the roundabout after the event.

The Taxi rank for the EXIT will be on the eastern side of Seaworld Roundabout, just south  roundabout. The Limo pick up point will be in the Park south east of the Seaworld Roundabout, and if you are arranging to be picked up by either Private Charter Buses or private vehicle, please direct drivers to wait in the Seaworld Car Park. Seaworld kindly let us use their car park at the end of the night, so we ask you to respect this and not leave rubbish behind, our cleaners will be working until about 3.00am after you have left, and by the time they get to Seaworld, they are ready to get home as well!

SEAWORLD SHUTTLE SERVICE:
The FREE Seaworld Shuttle services will be running from just north of the Road Closure point at the Seaworld Roundabout to and from the SFD Main Entry, for everyone being dropped off or walking to the event. These services commence at 10.00am and will run until everyone has left the venue after the event.

SEAWORLD RESORT GUESTS:
For guests at Seaworld Resort, SFD provides a FREE Shuttle Bus to travel to SFD from 11.00am, - leaving from the Front Entry, but you need to take the Seaworld Shuttle, leaving from the site for your return to the Resort. The Resort will have a Guest Relations person at the Seaworld Road Closure point to verify access for any Resort guests arriving after the road has been closed.

WALKING:
If you plan to walk all the way to the Spit, please respect our neighbours along the way, they like having SFD happening each year so let’s keep it that way, and for safety sake, keep to the defined walkways, not on the road.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY!

• SUMMAFIELDAYZE IS AN OVER 18’S EVENT – ENTRY WILL BE REFUSED TO PATRONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18. IDENTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN ENTRY.
• NO PASSOUTS
• SECURITY STAFF ARE ENTITLED TO SEARCH, PAT DOWN OR METAL DETECT ANY PATRON UPON ENTRY OR DURING THE EVENT. ANY PERSON NOT COMPLIANT WILL BE REFUSED
ENTRY OR REMOVED FROM THE EVENT – WITHOUT A REFUND.
• YOU MAY BE FILMED / PHOTOGRAPHED AT FESTIVAL & FOOTAGE/IMAGES MAY BE USED BY, REPLICATED, REPRODUCED & PUBLISHED BY FUTURE ENTERTAINMENT FOR ANY USE
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MARKETING & PROMOTIONAL USES.
• DISRUPTIVE OR ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED EITHER WITHIN THE EVENT OR THE LOCAL AREA. A SIGNIFICANT POLICE AND SECURITY PRESENCE WILL BE
IN PLACE ENFORCE THIS.
• FUTURE ENTERTAINMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY TO ANY PATRON.
• PLEASE RESPECT THE NEIGHBOURS AND RESIDENTS WHILST ENTERING AND EXITING THE EVENT – KEEP NOISE LEVELS TO A MINIMUM AND PLACE YOUR RUBBISH IN THE
ALLOCATED BINS.
• KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON YOUR FRIENDS
• FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH FIRST AID LOCATIONS
• STAY HYDRATED. FREE WATER IS AVAILABLE ON SITE
• MOST OF ALL, ENJOY YOURSELVES AND PARTY SAFE

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOR PERMITTED INTO THE VENUE:

• ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
• ILLICIT SUBSTANCES – ANY PATRONS DETECTED IN THE POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES WILL BE REFERRED TO POLICE - - ‘ECSTASY. YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT’S IN IT’ WWW.AUSTRALIA.GOV.AU/DRUGS
• PROFESSIONAL AUDIO VIDEO RECORDING DEVISES
• UMBRELLAS / FOLD UP CHAIRS / BBQ‘S / ESKIES
• ALUMINUM CANS, GLASS/PLASTIC BOTTLES OR METAL/PLASTIC CONTAINERS. (Sealed bottles of water under 600ml are permited - one per person)
• WEAPONS, KNIVES, SCISSORS, LASER POINTERS OR ANY ITEMS DEEMED DANGEROUS BY SECURITY.
• PROMOTIONAL OR ADVERTISING MERCHANDISE
• PYROTECHNICS, FIREWORKS, FLARES, HIGHLY FLAMMABLE OR EXPLOSIVE SUBSTANCES.
• NO PERSON WEARING CLOTHING, JEWELLERY, OR ANY OTHER ACCESSORY DISPLAYING OR INDICATING BY FORM OF WORDING, COLOURS, LOGO, SYMBOL OR OTHERWISE THAT
THEY ARE MEMBERS OF OR OTHERWISE ASSOCIATED WITH CRIMINAL GANGS BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO OR BE PERMITTED TO REMAIN AT SUMMAFIELDAYZE FESTIVAL.
