In Time is a a new thriller by writer/director Andrew Niccol (Gattica / Truman Show) starring Justin Timberlake, Cillian Murphy, Olivia Wilde and Amanda Seyfried. The story revolves around Will Salas, a young man from the wrong side of the tracks who is fighting to stay alive in a not-too-distant future when the aging gene has been switched off, people must pay to stay alive. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. Timberlake plays young man accused of murder when he inherits a fortune of time from a dead upper class man, though too late to help his mother from dying. He is forced to go on the run from a corrupt police force known as ‘time keepers’.
