After receiving a phenomenal amount of entries around Australia and New Zealand for EMI Music’s She Can DJ project, the top ten female DJ finalists can now be announced.
The top ten She Can DJ finalists (in alphabetical order) are:

Top ten DJ finalist, Leah Mencel, had this to share, “The whole She Can DJ thing is to prove we’re all talented girls. We’re not just up there looking pretty and shaking our booty, we can actually play. Girls can definitely match it with the boys.” The She Can DJ project kicked off April 7 and saw female DJ’s submit their work before the intensive selection process took place in May through to June. Fast forward to July, She Can DJ added to the already impressive list of ambassadors, including Bart Cools (EMI Executive Vice President, Marketing Europe/Rest Of World), Jason Ellis (Director, Positiva Records), Sarah Main (DJ, Producer and 10 year Pacha Ibiza's resident), Libby Clark (Founder of Sound Alliance - home of online communities Inthemix, FasterLouder, MessandNoise and SameSame), Stereosonic’s co-founder Simon Coyle, amongst others.
