Frank Ocean
has revealed the art and tracklist for his major label debut, Channel Orange, which is set to drop July 17th via Def Jam. Already-released single “Pyramids” sits at the center of the album, which features only three guests: Earl Sweatshirt, Andre 3000 and John Mayer. The Fader's Sam Hockley-Smith’s was lucky enough to be invited to Channel Orange listening session in NYC. where she said this of the album "Last night we heard all of Channel Orange, it’s a quietly ambitious record that features Ocean switching narrative points of view over lush, tasteful beats. The album feels organic, but not retro—a musical leap forward for both Ocean and the genre." If Pyramids is anything to go by the album will be well worth the wait.
