If you haven’t seen this awesome summer clip doing the rounds on Facebook and YouTube, you’ve been living under a rock!
Last year on summer’s eve (30 November), 17 Strongbow surfers took to Bondi beach at dusk kitted out in custom made glow-in-the-dark surfboards and wetsuits as an official “welcome to summer” for Strongbow cider.
Strongbow joined forces with legendary surfing filmmaker Jack McCoy, Bali Strickland and Eugene Tan to capture what was Australia’s largest glow in the dark surf attempt at Bondi Beach. The team of filmmakers captured the Strongbow surfers from air, land and underwater and combined it with amazing sunrise surfing footage. The end result is a short film that has already clocked up over 400,000 You Tube views.
